Payment links

Get paid with a link

Payment links give you a hosted checkout page for a fixed amount. Send it in a chat, put it in your bio or print it as a QR code. No website or code needed.

Create a link

  1. Set a default recipient

Links pay out like any other checkout, so you need a default bank recipient first. You'll find it under Dashboard → Recipients.

  2. Fill in the details

Open Dashboard → Payment links and choose a title, an optional description, the amount in naira and the coins you accept.

  3. Share it

Each link gets an address like slimepay.com/pay/pl_…. Anyone with it can pay you.

What your customer sees

The page shows your business name, the title and the amount. When the customer taps pay, Slimepay opens a fresh 15 minute checkout session, so the same link can be paid any number of times and each payment is priced at the rate of the moment.

Payments made through a link show up in your dashboard alongside SDK payments.

Turning a link off

Disable a link from the dashboard when the offer ends. The page then tells visitors the link is no longer active and no new sessions can start. Payments already in progress are not affected.

Revoking an API key does not break your links; they switch to another active key automatically. Need custom amounts per customer? Use the checkout SDK instead.
